eIDV Service Expands to 48 Countries

We broadened our offering to SEMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions, adding countries like Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Greece, Israel, and numerous nations across Latin America. In Europe, our coverage became comprehensive, spanning from Germany to the UK, Norway to Finland, Austria, and the Benelux region. Leveraging partnerships with top-tier providers, we enhanced our platform with advanced services for ID document authentication.

Welcoming Our First International Clients

Our fully developed electronic Identity Verification (eIDV) platform began serving its first international clients. We launched operations in eight additional markets, covering Europe’s key regions. Additionally, we partnered with trans-national data providers to secure a steady supply of high-quality, up-to-date data across all supported countries.

Advancing Permission Marketing

Recognizing the growing importance of Permission Marketing in the cross-channel era, we began focusing our R&D efforts and consulting services on:
- Integrating Mail-Maker with enterprise CRM, ERP, e-commerce, and mobile applications.
- Ensuring compliance with EU Privacy Regulations and guidelines from the Italian Data Protection Authority, particularly in direct communication and loyalty programs.

The Launch of Geko ADV

In 2009, leveraging Digital Metrics’ exclusive database of over 12 million permission-based contacts, we launched Geko ADV. This positioned us among Italy's top players in prospect and performance media. Through our affiliate network, we extended the reach of digital campaigns and sweepstakes to more than 30 million contacts.

The Mail-Maker Platform

Anticipating the multichannel evolution of one-to-one marketing, we launched the Mail-Maker platform in 2007. This innovative email and SMS platform provided real-time connectivity to specialized relationship marketing databases, enhancing our clients’ marketing capabilities.

The Birth of Digital Metrics

Digital Metrics was founded in Rome in 2006 by senior partners who were pioneers in Permission Marketing, Database Building, and Data Quality in Italy. Since 1995, these professionals have worked with leading brands such as J. Walter Thompson, CTS, ENI, La Gardenia, Ariston, Telecom Italia, Buffetti, and Intesa Sanpaolo, driving their digital transformation and earning international recognition. Our journey began with groundbreaking initiatives, including the creation of the first online contest portals in Italy, like Procter & Gamble's “Winnerland.”
